The Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) is pleased to announce it is launching a series of public nutritional medicine education lectures - MedEd 4 Everyone.
In the first program, Feed Your Brain, on Saturday 13 May 2pm-5pm, leading nutritional medicine experts will discuss the connection between nutrition and digestion and mental wellbeing. After each speaker there will be time for questions from the audience.
MedEd 4 Everyone: Feed Your Brain will feature 4 speakers:
Warren Maginn - a renowned Clinical Nutritionist, college lecturer and speaker will discuss the Gut/Brain Connection.
Dr Felice Gersh (USA) - recipient of numerous awards and renowned international lecturer, researcher, author and specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, will talk about the Sex Hormone/Brain Connection.
Professor Ralph Martins - recognised as a world leader of research into Alzheimer’s disease, will talk about Preventing Alzheimer’s Now.
Professor Felice Jacka - pioneer of a highly innovative program that examines how diet and lifestyle behaviours interact with the risk for mental health problems - hear her discuss Food, Mood and Mental Wellbeing.
